Have you always wanted to learn what your favorite DJs are doing when you see them on stage at festivals or livestreams? Do you want to learn how to make a crowd go crazy when you drop the bass? Then we have the perfect class for you!
Open to students interested in any genre of electronic dance music from house to trance, dubstep to drum'n'bass, techno to ridden, our electronic music DJ class will help students of any level. Whether you already have your own DJ kit and want professional instruction to help take your abilities to the next level or you're never touched a mixer before, this class will be perfect for you.
Everything from the basics of signal flow and beat matching to more advanced topics such as live looping and aggressive use of hot cues will be covered and aggressive use hot cues will be covered and classes will be tailored to each student's needs and musical tastes. You'll learn to play the music you love in complete DJ sets. As students become ready to play live DJ sets for audiences, their instructor will work with them to find promoters and venues who will give them booking opportunities to play real live DJ gigs - there are many family-friendly daytime events in the Vancouver and Portland area during the summer months that are perfect for aspiring DJs. We'll be rocking' those stages!
